David Uhl: Somewhere Between Dream and Memory
September 22 – December 16, 2018
The Marietta Cobb Museum of Art is pleased to announce our exhibition, David Uhl: Somewhere between Dream and Memory. This exhibition presents a variety of David Uhl’s oil and watercolor paintings that focus on motorcycles, cycle racing, and the tight-knit community of motorcycle enthusiasts. Based in Colorado, Uhl has been collecting bikes since 1988 and began a long, successful artistic relationship with Harley-Davidson® in 1993. This exhibition of Uhl’s artwork, complemented by a small selection of unique motorcycles, explores and celebrates the distinct and passionate subculture surrounding motorbikes.
