From Fashion to Fine Art

The Marietta Cobb Museum of Art is pleased to announce the exhibition of artwork by Atlanta-based artist, Lena Reznik. Reznik’s heritage is rooted in southern Russia and she has an academic and professional background in fashion design. Reznik implements thoughtful yet expressive usage of color theory, composition, and material in her body of work, which evokes art movements like Russian Cubo-Futurism and Fauvism, as well as her knowledge of the fashion world. Lena Reznik: From Fashion to Fine Art showcases a selection of the artist’s drawings, oil paintings, and acrylic paintings alongside examples of her pencil studies and digital prints onto silk scarves. This exhibition intends to acknowledge the artist’s admirable fluidity and skill within both design and fine art.
